    Last Buick 3800 Engine today

    The reason they stopped the production of the 3800 was because it was a good engine, too good and well, we couldn't have that now could we??? If GM had their heads on straight, they would be making the 3 cylinder Metro and they would be selling like hotcakes! Maybe they would even turn a profit!!!?????!!! WOW, that would be something now wouldn't it!!

    Old Car and truck show at Gross Motors in Neillsville Wisconsin this Saturday from 9am to 3pm. On US HWY 10, can't miss it. 25 minutes east of Interstate 94 from Osseo, Wi. It's at Gross Motors Buick, Pont, Chev dealership. All makes and models welcome as long as they are 20 years old or older and are AMERICAN made only! No Imports.

    Bring your Buicks!! Free Food and Beverages!! Goodie bags and dash plaques for the first 50 vehicles. TONS of door prizes! Entry fee $5.00 per vehicle.

    Super 8 Hotel in town for those wishing to stay overnight. 715-743-8080

    Hi guys,.....The Buick dealership I work for... http://www.grossmotors.com has a TON of windshields they want to get rid of. We need to make room. We have one "W805" (part #?) windhsield that fits a 73-77 Chev-Olds-Pont & Buick vehicles, including Malibu, Century, LeMans, Cutlass, 2 door, no antenna. We also have one "89255" (part#?) windshield for a 63-64 Buick, Pont, Olds, Chev 4 door sedan. The sheet I got from the body shop manager doesn't list what models this fits. I hope you can decifer the model from the part # given. We also have one windshield for a 70-80 Chev or GMC G series van. If anyone wants/needs info on these, email me here, PM me or call me at the dealership Mon-Fri 7am-4pm CT, 1-888-743-3207 ext 238. We have many Chrysler, Plymouth and Dodge shields as well as some AMC, Ford. Let me know of your needs, and pass this info on to anyone you know. Asking $75.00 for each windshield, we don't have the boxes to ship them in, so that may be an issue, but maybe something can be worked out. You are responsible for shipping costs.     Car hauling from Florida....

    A larger Bugle and an increase in dues

    <span style="font-family: 'Verdana'"> <span style="color: #990000"> I have been a member for many years and I know with all that is going on with the economy, much of an increase will see me waving bye bye as a club member. I am trying my darndest to keep myself and family afloat. I have been able to keep my old car hobby going by making some cost cutting moves, ie: dropping our cable TV to the basic package, saving $25.00 per month, having my wife cut my hair (I LOOK LIKE A DORK! crazy.gif), detailing vehicles on the barter system in trade for other service/products.....it's tough, and if my wife sees much of an increase in fees, I am sure I can say

    SEE-YA to the Bugle, BCA membership and the old car! I don't want that. $5.00 per month, I may be able to justify, but much more than that and the priorities will really kick in! Thanks for a great job in the BCA and the Bugle, I really do appreciate your hard work. John </span></span>

    I would like to find and buy a nice 67-72 Skylark or GS. Obviously a 2 door hardtop. Bucket seats would be the preference, but a bench with arm rest would be OK. 350 V8, automatic. Looking for one that is restored or original.

    Let me know what you have. Looking to spend up to $13,500.00 maybe a little more if need be. Again, I would like one that is restored to stock, or original and ready to be on the road.

    Please, nothing green in color.
