  13. So I have a 1953 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe. I purchased the car not knowing the many different features this particular vehicle comes with. It's been quite a learning experience for me the last 2 years I've been working on it, but the good news is I'm almost were I want to be. My question is: I read the engine oil also runs the transmission(all in one). How does one add the engine oil? Do you just add 12 quarts into the engine just like any other car? Do you add some oil in a different location?
