Ya I figured I wouldn't consider much more than $5,000 for both.

I've talked to the guy with the one with the totally rusted engine photo. He dismantled it and lost all the parts so the engine is a total loss. The other looks real rusty. They are both just parts cars in my view. I don't think either looks restorable in any practical sense. They both need absolutely everything redone. However ... I'm wondering what people here would think of getting both and seeing if one could come out of it with most of what you'd need to get a complete car. Or does 2 times zero still equal zero. New here but I have restored 3 other cars in my time and also have 40 years of metalworking experience and a complete metal working shop. However my work and experience was in construction, not sheet metal fabrication. Although in some sense metal is just metal.

I've just started my hunt for a late 60s Riviera and came across this right off. So what ever happened with this vehicle? I see they have it back on the market.
