The jump seat would be behind that panel, but seems to me that the panel is normally split in the middle so the seats can fold out individually.
@Crusty Trucker, the ash ‘receivers’ are built-in the rear side arm rests. Same for the 90 series Buick.

The Limos had a black painted dash. But, this looks like a plain ol’ 5 passenger sedan, to me. No jump seats, no division window. $15K if everything was right, but… Seller is in Fantasyland.
There’s a nice dark blue ‘41 (actual) Limo listed on FB Marketplace for a year, now. Started at $30K, price has been steadily dropping, last updated months ago to $22K; no takers. Limos are a tough sell. https://www.facebook.com/share/UYX4ZL22YbQ8rwc9/

I'm in need of a rocker arm stanchion for a '12 model 43. Could possibly fit other years or engine sizes. One of mine is quite worn. It's repairable with substantial effort and time - and I am rather short on the latter. If you think you may have one, please message me and I will provide photos and dimensions.
Thanks!

This is what I should buy and stop torturing myself with this ancient stuff. 🤯

Sounds like more than $11K worth of work done, so the car is actually +free+. It’s a good thing that so many cars are out of a practical distance away, or I’d been in the poor house.

I love to see these +barn finds+. Alas, I look at things from a less romantic perspective, having been there more than once. If the car was given free, and the owner put $20K in my pocket, I’d still be far upside down, and my life would be much shorter, by the time it’s on the road. If ever.

Thank gawd this truck is all the way across the country. I’d buy it, tend to the mechanicals and drive it in as-is condition.

Oooof! 😵💫
If anyone’s keenly interested in this one, it’s 10 minutes from me and I’d check it out for you.

What’s not to like here?
Fortunately (or perhaps unfortunately?) I have garage space for just two old cars, so that keeps me grounded. The third lives in a nearby friend’s garage. Else, I’d have a warehouse full.

Around 1987 or so, friend of mine in San Jose found a ‘56 or ‘57 Nomad - I have photos somewhere, it was in way better shape than this one. Original paint and interior. Was sitting in the seller’s backyard for eons. $300, or maybe it was $500? Took nothing for us to get it running and driving.

@dsasaki - I was your Uncle George's roommate about - yikes - 40 years ago! We had many, many motorcycle adventures together. Two years ago (photos you posted), when I visited George, I put a note with my name and number on it in the car. If you don't buy it, I would like give it a good home.
As to shipping, I will send you a private message and will refer you to a couple of trustable, old car transporters. -
My most recent +old+ adventure, a 1912 model 43. My prior oldest car is a '32 Pierce, so this Buick is a different beast.
Starting with the easier stuff - polishing nickel 😁.

The exterior photos would be better if not for the sun glare. Really sharp car. Current bid $21K. More photos on the auction listing below.

Brown. Why is it always brown?
The Brown, Tan, Pale Yellow combo. Nothing dates when an old car was painted more than these colors.

Cut the price in half again, and they'd be in the ballpark. A powder blue velour interior with green and black paint? What were they thinking?
Damn! If I’d only known about this car years ago, I had a pair of suede platform shoes that would’ve matched this car’s interior perfectly.

Nice looking. Even if the color is year-correct, I call it +Baby Sh** Beige+. I suppose Buick had a fancier name for it back then. This car was for sale at least a year ago. Maybe $70K for a Roadmaster - the best one I the world, but not the one level-down Super. $70K can buy a very, very nice ‘41 Cad convertible coupe, Full Classic. I know, I sold mine just under that $ some months ago.

I like Airflows. Adding to my list of old car wants. Interior is nice, especially for having been done may years ago. Price may be a tad high, but if it’s turnkey, then that’s worth a lot of $ in reduced mental and financial anxiety.

I like it. Why’s this stuff always at the other end of the planet?

These Buicks had all the fancy doo-dads, didn’t they? I’d take off the rear seat cover and reinforce the material from the back side. Undercarriage looks very clean, too. I realize it’s a 4D HT, but seems like fair money for a nice car.
