A rear outer wheel bearing. I'm putting together a car dis-assembled by someone else years ago. There is no existing bearing in-place at this time.
Thanks,

I'm looking to buy a rear wheel bearing for my 1928 Buick Standard Country Club Coupe. If you have one to sell? Let know.
Thanks,

Ray, do you want it diagonally measured or from one end to the other? One I started looking at it I do see the blind tapped threads.

I'll take a look at doing so. When I first saw the offset I also noticed two holes on the top that had not been drilled through, maybe this was a factory deal, make the choice and drill. Thanks for the idea. I assumed they were pot metal and hadn't considered altering.

Good idea, Leif! Here is a look at the bracket...

In the process of re-building my 1928 Standard Buick Country Club Coupe, I have two right hand side brackets that hold the visor from the pillar. Anyone have a spare left side one?
If so I can buy it from you or trade for a right-hand side.
Thanks,

Thanks, Oregon Desert. Took my time and was able to engage the cable to the speedo and use the mounting flat clip.
All appears fine.

I do have that flat clip and nut to secure it to the speedo. I'll take it all out and try again.
Thanks for the in-put, Oregon Desert.
I'm in Eugene by the way.

In re-building my 28 Buick Standard, I'm assembling much of the car that had been previously dis-assembled by the previous owner. Question on the speedometer connection...
Is there an adaptor that connects the speedometer outlet, round, to the drive cable which is square? Been looking through my spare parts and see nothing.
Thanks!

Just received the current relay, Ray. Thanks so much! And with the original info sheet to boot.

Excellent. I've been trying to get mine to work properly and only a portion of it responds.
Thanks, Ray.

Looks like we have a match. Tell me the shipping costs and I'll send it your way. I really appreciate this.
Thanks, Ray.

Thanks, Ray. I'm headed out to pull it out of the car now to compare.
Appreciate it.

Yes I will. I'll pull it out tomorrow and post them.

Is there a resource for purchasing a current limit switch to fit a 1928 Standard? (located on the inside of the firewall) The one I've got is in rough shape and I'd like to have a clear, rust free one for better conductivity.
Thanks!

Have finished the re-build of my Buick Standard 1928 Coupe. Ready to put in the fluids and see if it will fire-up. However, I noticed while on jacks the wheels were locked in, almost like it's in gear. Verified I was in neutral, same thing. Dis-connected the drive line and the same results. What did I miss in re-assembly, why might the rear-end bind-up?
Thanks,

Thanks, Kevin. This gives me some good ideas. Nice work on the re-build!

I'm looking to purchase the bracket that holds the Choke and carb heater handles and faceplate in place. This bracket mounts behind the dash.
Thanks,

Floyd, I'm interested if you in fact went to a completely different carburetor? I"m interested in parts from your old one? If you want to keep all I understand. However, there is a small arm that links the metering pin to the throttle, I can see it attached to the pin in your second photo above the thumb. Are you interested in selling such parts?
Thanks,
