  1. In re-building my 28 Buick Standard, I'm assembling much of the car that had been previously dis-assembled by the previous owner.  Question on the speedometer connection...

Is there an adaptor that connects the speedometer outlet, round,  to the drive cable which is square?  Been looking through my spare parts and see nothing.

    Thanks!

  2. Have finished the re-build of my Buick Standard 1928 Coupe.  Ready to put in the fluids and see if it will fire-up.  However, I noticed while on jacks the wheels were locked in, almost like it's in gear.  Verified I was in neutral, same thing.  Dis-connected the drive line and the same results.  What did I miss in re-assembly, why might the rear-end bind-up?

    Thanks,

  3. Floyd, I'm interested if you in fact went to a completely different carburetor?  I"m interested in parts from your old one?  If you want to keep all I understand.  However, there is a small arm that links the metering pin to the throttle, I can see it attached to the pin in your second photo above the thumb.  Are you interested in selling such parts?

    Thanks,
