thanks old tank I just ordered the heavier sway bar from brads bars. one thing though. you say heavier springs. they make a heavier spring than the ones that are on it now ? how's jamco ? would they have heavier springs ? thanks for your help.

just purchased a 55 Buick century 2 dr hardtop recently. the car runs and drives nice but everytime I go over a little rough road or a bump or dip the car seems to idk go back and forth with a little shake to it. is there a way to firm up the suspension some how ? I just put new knee shocks and shock links in the rear but maybe tighten front end also ? any suggestions guys to firm the ride up a little ? any suggestions you Buick guys ? thanks.

this question is for kosage chavis. I was following you during your taking apart of your Buick step by step. was wondering if you had the pics and info of taking apart the front bumper and the other parts of it along with the grille. you explained it perfectly and I want to do it myself. liked the story you told about your dad selling his Buick when you were a kid and now you purchased the same one. good luck with it.

thanks old tank. no slipping or chattering going on. just have to get use to the feeling I guess. JOHND1956 yes I made sure car was warmed up to check the fluid level. first thing I had done, but I will check the other suggestions you mentioned. thanks again and avgwarhawk you hit it on the head how it operates when in D. just smooth acceleration, thanks guys I will keep you updated.

yes when its in D its not a rocket and your right about it engaging in L with authority. checked fluid and it was full, so now I will check the pressure at the front pump. so in D it doesn't engage with authority like putting it in low ? thats how the dynaflow works ? thanks avgwarhawk.

my 55 Buick century has P N D L R in that order. shifts good in all except drive. it will go into drive but very faintly and goes into low and reverse very good. the way it goes into low is what I feel drive should be. is there a future problem coming about ? any suggestions from you Buick guys ? thanks.
