  1. Guy's I just completed my 55 buick century crankshaft because I had a bad leak coming from the rear main seal after changing 2 seals prior. Believe it or not after putting the crank back in with a new rear main seal it still LEAKS ! can't believe it. Rebuilt crankshaft and new rear main seal and it still leaks. Anybody have an idea why it would still be leaking from there ? everything else is dry as a bone on the engine.

  2. I can relate about oil dripping from crankshaft. I to replaced 2 seals before realizing the crank shaft was worn and a little pitted.I took engine out and removed the crankshaft and had it re-done. Was going to put a new crankshaft in that I found at CARS LLC. in New Jersey but I wanted to use my original one since it was already in my car and broken in kind of. End of the day the crank is back in and I have no more oil leaks ! finally ! but if anyone out there needs a crank shaft you can find them on eBay. Some rebuilt one's or new one's.

  4. thinking about putting a complete ac/heat defrost system in my 55 buick. Does anybody know which one to use ? heard vintage air was good and hurricane but just wanna make sure I get the right unit from the best company who supplies the whole complete unit. any help guy's I would appreciate.

  5. 60FLATTOP my vent windows stay closed very tight and I had the frames all redone. that's the puzzling thing. no air comes through when driving but I hear the wind whistling anyway. the rubber is a little bit worn so I'm hoping when I change it out it will stop and I'm going to try to put that rubber seal that runs along the post from the flipper front down along that post that meets the door. gonna try anything at this point. thanks and yes to frank Duval I will use the painter's tape. it leaves no residue.
