I have acquired a 1935 Studebaker Commander eight cylinder that needs a head. Can anyone tell me if a 1934 Commander eight cylinder iron head will work on a 1935 eight cylinder block?

I am in need of a good iron head for a 35 Commander four door sedan barn find that has a hole in the aluminum head. After research, it seems like it would be easier to put on an iron head then find an aluminuam head. If you have one you are willing to part with email me at Structoboy@aol.com

I am now given up on putting an aluminum head back on this car and am looking for an iron eight cylinder head for my 35 Commander. Does anyone have one they are willing to part with? please let me know

I have recently purchased a 35 Commander four door with a straight 8 and aluminum head. It has been in a building for 40+ years. Started to clean it up and a hole appeared in the left front water jacket of the head. There is no coolant in the oil. Can someone point me to a resource for a head gasket and head? Have not pulled head so not sure if any of the other water jackets are compromised. Has anyone repaired a head? Any help would be great greatly appreciated.
