Very nice, 1940 Chevrolet that I've owned for 20 years, and have driven over 20,000 miles throughout western North Carolina. Inline 216cu., 6 cylinder, 3-speed on column. Floor starter with manual choke. Switched over to 12 volt, I installed a polypropylene gas tank, new Coker radial tires, Hampton Coach interior, all guages work, doors, trunk & hood shut perfect (no slamming), windows roll up and down very smooth. Installed seat belts in front and back. New radiator and water pump purchased at Chev of the 40's, installed in Nov of 2018. All chrome is in great shape, bumpers are perfect. Just a great driver car.. always kept in a locked garage, a requirement for Hagerty insurance. Issues: None, mechanical... cosmetic: small tear in headliner back near rear window, paint on top (only) is fading, and front rubber mat is cracking.
