  1. Thanks guys....You are right where I am on the value. Car runs fine.
  2. Hi all, very shortly, I plan to advertise the above-mentioned Model A for sale for an estate. I have a ballpark idea regarding its value, but I'd like to get some comments on the fact that it was an AACA Grand National Senior Winner, albeit 20 years ago in 2004. I can tell you, that the car is in nearly the same condition, it was at the time of the award. Does the award received add any tangible value in 2024. IMHO, the car could win today given its current condition. Thanks for any comments.
  3. Hi All, Would anyone have any information regarding 1954 Oldsmobile Hydro-Electric Windows? Anything would help: Operation, Maintenance, a Manual or a link to a website. I've tried shop manuals, parts manuals etc. and couldn't find much. I know other GM cars had the same basic windows up till about 1954, so anything that pertains to those vehicles would help a great deal. Thanks in advance for any information.

  9. Well Happy Birthday....Really, This isn't my car, it belongs to a friend....he has 2 of them...a 1972 12 Cylinder....looks about the same in color and quality. It has the same awards as the 67 ....lucky guy, but they have to move on. Thanks
  10. Lowered Price - $155,000.00!....This is an excellent car and we also have a 1972 12 Cylinder in the same condition...also an award winner. Please call 410-596-0500 for more info. Thanks
  11. Thanks for that info Matt. I've already started changing the engine compartment around. I have some stock valve covers and I'm looking for an air cleaner. I have bought Magnum 500s and new tires...just picked them up yesterday. So, the project is moving forward. Where is your shop? Bernie
  12. I just purchased a 1967 Comet Caliente Convertible. The car is in great shape and I plan to do a few things to it...drive it for the summer and then take it to Fall Hershey for sale. what I have found is that these cars are VERY Scarce, parts are kinda difficult to find and the prices of those I have found aren't very encouraging for resale......Most are less than 1/2 of their Fairlane counterparts and they are basically the same car. Mercury only built 1539 Caliente Convertibles! This car is RARE! and it will be priced consistant with its Fairlane Cousins in October. But, my question remains.....Where did the 66-67 Comets disappear to? Thanks for any comments.
  13. This 300F has never been restored. It has been maintained as a great driver by each and every owner. It was repainted Red (it was White) but it was professionally done. This particular car is ready to be driven as it sits...not restored. The interior is original with some faults, but is very presentable and totally usable for many years. With just over 82k miles, it still runs very strong with the hi-po engine. The car is priced accordingly! If you want a restored 300? this is not the car for you. While I appreciate the interest so far, most have said "Well, it needs this...or I have to change that"...Check the price! and if you want a very nice 300F? here you go. Or, just go pay $100k plus...IF, you can find one! Thanks for the interest.
  14. For info please call 410-596-0500. The car is located in Sykesville, MD.
  15. Thanks John. You are correct. I did the listing and completely forgot to add a contact number. Bernie
