  1. Thanks guys, I had the allen screw out and it was loose I was just afraid to pull on it to hard for fear of breaking something that might be plastic. appreciate the help on all of my questions.
  2. Hello everyone, I just got a new to me 89 Tc with the ginger interior. it was a little dirty on the interior so I removed the seats to do some carpet cleaning and noticed the center console was in need of some repair. I've gained access to the screws in the front and rear and have been able to loosen the shifter knob but cannot figure out how to remove the center spring loaded button to remove the console, any thoughts on how to do this without breaking other parts? which leads me to another question, I'm looking at maintenance manuals for the car and have seen some on ebay, but are paper copies. is there anyplace that sells these as scanned electronic files? Thanks in advance, Trek L. K.C., MO.
  3. Hello Shelbyone, just in the past hour I'm the new (to me) owner of an 89 TC that is in really good condition with the only flaw in the interior being the instrument cluster cover has some shrinkage. would you be willing to part with it. if you can see the pic of the interior you will see it has wood grain inserts, I'm assuming those can be removed, right? sorry I haven't got the car yet but will have it by this time tomorrow. Thanks, Trek L.
