These are beautiful cars when done and get up and go. Had a friend that collected these. He passed away a few years ago, but, his son still has at least 10 62 Bonnevilles and a ton of NOS parts. Several are 4 speed convertibles needing restoration, but, in much better condition.

Had one exactly like this one. Same colors. Fun little car.

I like this body style on all brands, especially Buicks. Hopefully, someone will restore it to a nice driver.

This listing was on a Facebook page, not on Facebook marketplace. Every time I try to put in the link, it just takes you to Facebook, not the listing. It is on the HET page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/16027154035/
It took me to the Hudson group, if you scroll down through several cars you find the ad for the truck.

Another car that would look a 1000% better with a good cleaning and buffing. Not my kind of car, but, for someone into these it could certainly be preserved.
-
A couple days of cleaning and buffing and that car would look pretty nice.

So, it only needs to have the battery charged, a new solenoid wire and air in the tires to make it a driver. I say, he should do it and prove that. I have yet to have a car sit for 5 years that was that easy.

My brother had a vette of this vintage and really enjoyed it. I have had vintage cars since I was 14, so 60 years and only owned one vette, a 78, that I bought just to flip. Had it one week. However, last year, I bought a beautiful 98 vette coupe. I love it. You have all the modern conviences and car can go anywhere at any speed. Sold my 36 Ford Cabriolet, and 68 Impala convertible. Still working on a 1940 Buick Roadmaster Sport Coupe, but, losing interest. This car is a great way for someone to get into the hobby.

My favorite body style during those years.

I never bought a car with more horns than carburetors. That' gotta say something.
Lots of cars have more horns than carburetors. My 1940 Buick and many 60's cars.

Already removed by owner. Lot of car for the money.

I have always like these cars. When young I had several 3000 Healeys, back then they did not bring much, but that has changed big time. I like these two cars.

I have not studied Musk, have heard that he is an interesting person. No opinion either way at this point. As far as being inventive/adventurous I think with a lot of money any reasonably intelligent person could do the same. I have crazy ideas all of the time just no capitol to act upon, LOL. Edison, Ford and many more people have done the same.
There is a huge difference between having crazy ideas and actually understanding each phase of making those ideas become reality. Musk is deeply involved in ever step of making his ideas become reality. He is difficult in every way. The book Musk is very interesting. You get an idea of how brilliant he is and also how flawed he is. For years I felt he would become the Howard Hughes of the 21st century. He just may. What he can do in his head, often takes a team of engineers days to prove him right. He often makes major spit second decisions and takes responsibilty for there success or failure. Hopefully, he will keep some of his sanity and continue to develop amazing things.

Frankly, I am amazed by the volume of interesting cars that show up on FB. I personally sold a fully restored 68 impala convertible and a 36 Ford Cabriolet this summer on FB. Both cars went to the same guy and they were sold within an hr of posting. I also collect antique music boxes, some of the deals I have seen on FB are amazing. It reaches millions of people and the search engine is far from perfect, but, anything and everything shows up on there if you look.

You would have the only one at the cruise in.

Every time I see one of these, I wonder who would ever buy one, new or old.

Very nice and much more attractive than the yellow ones showing up lately. I can't help but wonder if the yellow wheels on this one are an original color option.
I did a coupe in this color combo about 40 years ago. Pretty sure that was a wheel color option, I know my car looked exactly like this and I tried to keep everything original.

What a shame. How does a person, let a car like that sit outside?

Incorrect interior notwithstanding, here's big old car fun for reasonable money.
Didn't know Studebaker had 50/50 split bench seating. Proves once again how advanced they were.
Doesn't look like a 50\50 split to me.

If you think you're going to charge me almost $900 between the tent and my 5 spaces and tell me I have to park my truck and trailer somewhere else other than my space, you're crazy.
The problem is not you parking your truck there, it is the people only parking their there. They vend nothing, just use it to park. I skipped this year because last year was the same. Could have easily condensed the flea market. When I vended years ago, not parts for sale, you were out.
