  3. Hey Rod sory i havnt been in here lately ive been flat out in this car trying to get it finished for the next buick club meeting here in Australia. Yea the gearbox thing is weird especially for a Mclaclan non export vehicle. Sean did a great job doing investigdoings on my car finding the year exact to the month it was built. But the gearbox and the extra spare wheel carige has me stumped. As to why. Or were it came from.
  4. The spare wheel carryer also has me stumped. I did find one care with the same but its on the drivers side.
  5. So i have my car well on the way through its resto but one question i have is my gear shift is beside the drivers door ?? Right hand drive..Dose anyone have any idea about this ??

  7. I was lucky enough to find this car a few months ago in the proses of id myself i believe its a 1923 mclaclan 45 model no Australian plates or x on the engine block so im thinking its from canada. Thanks to a member here called Sean.
  8. Im not sure of the fule tank size. But it does have a stewart vacume pump.

  12. Tru i cant see that it has been changed on the dash or the floor. But i did have to turn the gears on the steering box lol
  13. Ours dose not have the x so could this be a later imported car that was not actually made 4 export
  14. Thanks heaps sean i had a feeking it might be Mclauglan. And i wish I had the fire wall tag seems to be the only one missing. Ill double check the wheels and ill let you know
  15. Hi all im a member of the Australian Buick club and im trying to identify this car i just bought it seems to be a strange car this one. Only 5 chasis numbers D on the engine block with only 5 numbers. It has no scoloping on the guards. But is a 6 cylinder with what seems to be a 1923 delco starter. And 21 inch wheel base. Any advise or knowledge of what this is would be awsome thank you.
  16. Hi all im a member of the Australian buick club in Queensland. I have recently bought this car and im having difficulty identifying it. Any info and clues about it would be awsome. There is no scoloping on the guards and the position of the chasis number dosnt match the era of the motor. And only 5 chasis no. With a D...before engine no. Wheel base 21 inces with what seems to be a 1923 delco starter ?? Please help
