  1. In my search for parts to restore my Running Boards on my 1930 Oldsmobile Deluxe Patrician I found two sources for the parts I needed. L&L Antique Auto Trim in Pierce City, Mo had the moldings I needed in stock. Their phone number is (417) 476-2871 They have a Facebook page with their catalogue that showed what each year’s molding looks like. Northfield Ltd in Northfield, OH had the correct Mat pattern for my 1930 Oldsmobile (the same pattern as the 1930 -31 Buick) in stock. Their phone number is 440-786-8141 and their webpage is http://www.northfieldltd.com/index.html These two items were very hard to find and took many hours of research to find these two suppliers. I hope this information can be of use to others. This is my 1930 Oldsmobile Patrician.
  2. Thank you all for your replies to my search for running board mat. I found a source for the mat I need from Rand at http://www.northfieldltd.com/index.html. My 1930 Oldsmobile uses the same pattern as a 1930 -31 Buick and his company had the mat in stock. It is now on order and I am happy. This is what the pattern looks like. This same pattern would be the same for 1928 through 1930 Oldsmobiles.
  3. I use a garden tractor battery in my Merry Olds. They can be found at any Wal-Mart store.
  4. Thank you for the information. I looked them up and here is their website. https://www.restorationstuff.com/ecommerce/
  5. Thank you for the lead. I checked their web page and they do carry several generic patterns. I will have to keep them in mind if I can not find a photo of the OEM matting used on the 1930 Oldsmobile.
  6. I did not ask if he still had any inventory or equipment left. He sounded like he has been retired for awhile.
  7. Thanks for the lead. I found his phone number and gave him a call. He is now retired and out of business.
  8. They are still in business. I ordered the running board molding from him today.
  9. I am looking for a photo and measurements for OEM Style Running Board Matt for my 1930 Oldsmobile Patrician 4 door sedan. I found a source that can reproduce the Matt if I can get them the information they need. Can anyone provide me with a photo and perhaps measurements?
  10. After an extensive Google search and following all links in results I found a source for OEM style Running Board Molding. Here is the information I found. L&L Antique Auto Trim 403 N Spruce St, Pierce City, MO 65723 417-476-2871 This business had the correct reproduction running board trim in stock I needed. And, he will ship it today! Does not get any better than that.

  12. Several of the 1930 cars seem to use a similar style of edge trim like in the following photo. I am looking for a source for the running board trim for my 1930 Oldsmobile F30 Patrician 4 door sedan.
  13. Merry Olds serial number is under the seat on the bench seat frame and looks like the picture in one of the replies to this post.
