  1. I enjoyed the movie, saw it on the big screen when it came out, but it is by no means a classic. I saw it as a comedy. Hoffman obsessing over watching Judge Wapner, getting his shorts from K-mart, etc. His portrayal of an autistic person was not authentic at all, but probably as good as you have a right to expect. That's why it was OK to laugh at it; you were not laughing at someone who actually had autism.

    My daily driver vehicle is a Toyota pickup which is very annoying for highway travel, springs much too harsh, even the smaller bumps in the road get transmitted. I think most newer full size pickups are actually better in that regard.
