  1. Yeah, thank you. I am helping someone to investigate the purchase of a 69 and the dealer cannot find the numbers in that area. I explained where it was and because I had a 68 figured it was in the same place. We just wanted to triple check. I have found many times that people will claim numbers matching, yet they basically never looked and just took someone’s word for it.

    Thanks again!

  2. Could someone with a 1969 Riviera confirm where the VIN numbers is supposed to be on the engine. Ideally with pictures of the location. My understanding is that it should be on the drivers side between the front spark plugs in that little window. Certainly I have read the sights that attempt to show this, but I need to double check.

    Thank you.

  3. Hey there,

I sold my 68 Riviera to a gentlemen in the SF Bay Area and he currently has the vehicle in the body shop. He is looking for a front bumper and possibly a good passenger side front fender (with cornering lamp option). Please let me know if anyone knows where we might find these parts. Thank you!

  4. I bit ago I sold my 66 Riviera to a Gentleman in Tokyo. So I no longer need all the collectables and rare manuscripts I purchased to go with it. If someone is interested in the lot pictured, please PM me.

    $500, plus shipping.

Thank you for checking it out and of course I can provide more pictures.

  5. I was going trough the panels of an accessory sales display "Trilon" for 1969 Buick's and noticed a cool item shown as, "Tail Pipe Extension." I am curious if anyone has ever seen a set of these, know about them, or even better had a set for sale? Hehe. Not sure who the manufacture would have been and not in the normal accessories booklets.

    Thanks!

  6. We used to have a 73 in Burnt Coral, yet I never checked the tag so it could have been burgundy. Black interior with no vinyl top.

Certainly the paint is worn here, yet it did have a nice fire/sparkle to it in the sun.

  7.

What is the original color paint and interior?

Burnt Coral is excellent if staying within the 73 year. Willow Green is also kinda nice.

Paint colors to consider if you go outside of 73 could include:

    Sunset Sage

    Midnight Aqua

    Turquoise Mist
