If you receive an email from Kelvin Max [email: kmax20665@gmail.com] Do NOT answer it. This is a scam. Claims that due to health problems he has to part out a car, then sends you a picture of the car you have that he pulls off the web. What he wants is your address he can rob you or talk you into giving him a list of parts that you want and of course pay for via Western Union so the money can't be traced. Do not fall for this scam!

I would agree on both counts. That really is a beautiful car.

1931 Oakland. Negative or Positive ground?

Thanks AWISE. -
Thank you for the additional information Neil. Where are you located?
-
I still haven’t heard a price?

Neil, I see you also have a '55 Lincoln Capri. I have a clear title and a matching VIN plate for that car with a color code of red on the VIN plate for sale if you're interested. I also have a ton of parts for the '55 Lincolns. I've owned 23 of them.

Thanks for the post of your '41 Neil. Does it run? Why haven't you restored it yourself? How much are you asking, if it's for sale that is? tom

Thank you. Much appreciated. -
I have a '31 Oakland Coupe chassis with a rebuilt motor, but it needs a body. Prefer a Coupe or Roadster from the teens, 20's or 30's. tom griffith/madison, wisc.

Can someone tell me what these are for? Appear to be 1930's art deco Chrysler or DeSoto? Any help would be most appreciated. I have two right and two left in NOS condition. tom

This very rare and completely restored 1941 Chrysler New Yorker Convertible has an 8 cylinder engine with a newly rebuilt Overdrive unit. It easily cruises down the highway at 80-90 mph. Power brakes on all four wheels. Everything is factory original with no modifications. The convertible top is relatively new and requires just one person to put it up or down in that is has a factory power top in excellent working order. The tires and tubes are brand new, as well as the power brake system. All the chrome is new. All of the gauges and lights work! Yes, even the gas gauge. The seats are all leather and in great shape. Above all this car has the famous Chrysler Fluid Drive transmission with Overdrive and operates as smooth as silk. This car is extremely dependable and starts right up without a choke and drives like a dream. Great for modern day highway traffic to anywhere you want to go. The undercarriage is detailed and a strikingly rust-free car. The dark emerald green paint is absolutely beautiful. Someone spent a lot of money wet-sanding this car and buffing it to a mirror finish. Just stunning. The previous owner definitely babied this car its whole life. There are no disappointments. I only own the finest cars in the world, and this one certainly ranks in that category. Driving these 8 cylinder New Yorker's is an experience you'll never forget. Smooth, quite and above all - powerful. Tom Griffith 608-212-8774 Madison, WI Hemmings ad link: https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/chrysler/new-yorker/2285090.html Price: $49,000 obo
