    P2 options

Im looking for pictures of the radio and clock options for a P2. I see three different clock options mentioned (one regular clock and 30hr or 8 day mirror clocks), but cannot seem to find a picture of what any of them actually looked like. The problem is that everyone wants to list their radio or clock as being for a "30's" hot rod, so I am having a hard time wading through what is real and what is someone's marketing ploy. I also cannot seem to find where the should go other than the radio control head goes in place of the ash tray (that turned up in a search here). Thanks again for any help!
  2. It is a sedan and I believe 36 was the last year for soft tops for Plymouth. Thanks for the tip, I will check them out. The problem I have run into so far is that everyone tells me the 36 uses a different weatherstrip channel and no one seems to sell the correct rubber, but they have it up to 35.
  3. Your suggestion was actually the first thing I tried and how I learned that the dodge was different from the Plymouth! Im still have a lot to learn about these cars!
  4. THanks for the response. I did try a search, but it appears the Dodge and Plymouth are not compatible.
  5. Hello everyone, Im new to the forum and appreciate the wealth of information here. Im a Corvette guy at heart (if the name didn't give it away). I recently inherited a 36 Plymouth that belonged to my grandfather. Now I have been around old cars most of my life, so I am not completely clueless, but this is the oldest car I have ever really worked on or had much involvement besides admiring. The top is badly rotten and part of it ripped away during transport down to Florida. Can anyone tell me where I can find replacement material and weatherstripping? An email to Andy Berbaums tells me that they don't have it and the 36 is not the same as the earlier cars and I will just have to "make something work". I cant believe they make the weather strip for cars up to 35 but not a 36...someone out there has to have it! Im not overly concerned with being "correct" as grandpa was more concerned with keeping them driving (he had the 36 and a 47). Any info on fabric or weather stripping would be greatly appreciated. THank you!
