Hello everyone, Im new to the forum and appreciate the wealth of information here. Im a Corvette guy at heart (if the name didn't give it away). I recently inherited a 36 Plymouth that belonged to my grandfather. Now I have been around old cars most of my life, so I am not completely clueless, but this is the oldest car I have ever really worked on or had much involvement besides admiring. The top is badly rotten and part of it ripped away during transport down to Florida. Can anyone tell me where I can find replacement material and weatherstripping? An email to Andy Berbaums tells me that they don't have it and the 36 is not the same as the earlier cars and I will just have to "make something work". I cant believe they make the weather strip for cars up to 35 but not a 36...someone out there has to have it! Im not overly concerned with being "correct" as grandpa was more concerned with keeping them driving (he had the 36 and a 47). Any info on fabric or weather stripping would be greatly appreciated. THank you!
