Yes, it would be good to try the Fantomas DS !
This DS with airplane wings is superb !Fantomas is very well known and often for a laugh we try to imitate the laughter of Fantomas .
I didn't know that the film Fantomas and the other films by Louis de Funès were known in America/Canada.
Do you also know the films of the “7th company” (with Jean Lefébvre, Pierre Mondy and Henry Guybet ) ?8 hours ago, 8E45E said:I particularly like the floating DS here:
Craig
This floating DS is superb too, if I'm not mistaken this DS was for an ad.
And it reminds me of the futuristic flying car that we can see in “back to the future 2 ”
And the museum where you can see other cars in your links is very good ! -

Yes that's exactly it ! The Citroën Mehari of gendarme louis de funés was good ! . I love the movie "The Gendarme and the Aliens", and I like the other films he made .
Do you know the film “le corniaud” with louis de funés and Bourvil ? There is a very beautiful Cadillac in the film !Here are excerpts from the film . The film takes place in France and then they go to visit Rome in Italy .

SO interesting to see people dress in the costumes/clothes of the era of the vehicles that they like and dancing as well. It all adds to the festive atmosphere of the event.
Does this car display take place once a year or more then once? Does it last just one day or over a weekend? More details please if and when you can.
I have mentioned to you before how I love the architecture both residential and commercial. I assume that the spectators walking around are respectful of the cars as well. It has to be a great day for all the shops that are open to sell their merchandise as well.
Thank you very much for your message, it makes me happy that you like it .
The place where this exhibition takes place is called "place Lalaque" in Montauban (in the south of France, in Tarn et Garonne), and at this address there is once a month a small car exhibition which lasts only in the morning. And once a year there is a big car exhibition at this address, and it lasts all day (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
This exhibition that I went to was the big exhibition which lasts the whole day, and it only happens once a year.
Yes I remember that you like the architecture of buildings, and the town of Montauban is a beautiful town with many pretty old buildings.
In fact that day the sellers and the restaurants nearby were happy because there were a lot of people .- 1

I am amazed at the diversity and age range of the vehicles attending that show. It is something seldom seen at shows / events here in Australia as there seems to be a divide between the various groups (snobbery is a better term) and perhaps a fear of "cross pollination".
We get, Vintage, Classics, One make, One country and then the modified lot with "rat rod", "street rod", "street machine", "custom" etcetera - and none of them seem willing to fraternise with the common ground of being "car guys"/
Steve
Thank you so much . Yes here we mix the cars and everyone is happy, for example, people who are in Citroen 2CV clubs are also happy to talk and see with people who have American cars, with German cars, tractors, ...

Great pictures, Sebastien. Thank you! Citroën DS always reminds me of one great, if not greatest, French comedy actor. Can you guess whom? I believe he drove DS 19 in that movie.

And I didn't know this gang either, and it's true that the car in your photo looks like the "La Buire", maybe that's it16 hours ago, mobileparts said:Merci , Sebastien !!! Tres Bien !!! Magnifique !!!

15 hours ago, wayne sheldon said:I love that 1908 La Buire! (C'est magnifique!) A marque that I am not familiar with. Very interesting.
Also the other earlier cars , mostly 1920s Citroens and the Renault are to me of particular interest.
That aside, I do really enjoy seeing so very many postwar European cars that we see so rarely see over here. Truly fascinating.
I always enjoy and look forward to your lengthy postings of car shows in your part of the world!
Merci Beaucoup

Thank you, it’s the first time I’ve seen one too. It's an interesting car, and if I'm not mistaken it's a French brand created in the city of "Lyon" in France.

THANKS ! with pleasure !
Merci et bonne journée !
Okay, I didn't know there was a French channel in Canada.
Yes, the film “The Big Mop” is very good! I like !
The very famous/mythical French films are: The 7th Company, The Gendarme in St Tropez, The Great Vadrouille, Fantomas, Rabbi Jacob, ...
These films are shown about every two or three times a year, and we watch them all the time, I have seen these films many times .
Here is a video with extracts from the 3 films of the 7th company.
The film takes place during the war with the Germans, and the French soldiers try to find their crew, and for this they hide, disguise themselves as German,...
It's a comedy film, it's very funny !
Yes, you are right, I had forgotten this Jaguar by Louis de Funès !!
