This 1956 Chrysler Windsor arrived at my friend's garage for a new brake light switch. Beautiful car with only 30,000 or so miles on it. I believe it is original and I apologize for not remembering the actual mileage!

How great it is to have more information here! Thank you Varun. I see you have been quite busy recently bringing back old threads asking for identification. Wonderful to have your participation.

That Mac version should run this site just fine. I'm a Mac user (though not a "power" user). I came out of the printing industry and the layout/book/processing software is definitely a good reason for staying with Mac. I would certainly miss your posts and treat them like the old-time continuing serials, keeping me riveted to tune in next week! I sincerely hope you can stay with us!

Looks like something off the batmobile.

I'm the guy he helped. I do hope he chimes in. He was of great help to me when I was troubleshooting my 2CV.

Our "family" car back in the mid-1970s was a 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood limousine. Great car for a family with 5 kids. Only problem was Dad sold it right before I was old enough to drive!

Thank you to all. My buddy did remember is dad talking about an Essex in the family also. Cheers!

Thank you for the quick replies! Anyone want to break the tie?😀

This is a photo that recently surfaced in a friend's family. 1935 is written on the back of the photo. The license plate appears to be Pennsylvania with a date of 1935. He believes the young man kneeling is his father and the standing man most likely his grandfather. My friend remembers stories of how those two were always working on the family Whippet.
Thanks for your help!

Sorry for the loss. But I must say that I can imagine a long trip with 7 people in the car. I'm number 3 of 5 kids and we were crammed in a variety of cars over the years. I'm glad you have such wonderful memories. I'm certainly blessed with mine.

What am I still looking for?
My mind…….I lost it when I fell in love with pre war cars. If anyone comes across it, please return it. I have never used it.
My brother said he found his when he had his first colonoscopy. I guess Dad was right all along when telling him where he kept his head!
