  1. Alot of cars had them you put the peddle down and it would "dump" the exhaust .   it was befor the muffle. Some would use it for noise and some for compression release. I did not know if each car manufacturer had their own or if  you could buy them off the shelf. I have 5 or 6 and was going to sell them but, want to keep 1 for my studebaker mine are all different  Thanks

The wire wheels are a desirable accessory, although these are not really correct for this year car.

No, the original 1924 wheels will not work with the later axles.

1924 Franklins never had side mounts.

To the right person and car the wire wheels are a big plus. worth alot for trading

  3. 1924 Franklin for SALE.  The good: new engine, that runs great, good vacuum tank, new top looks great, great interior, very nice dash, new wiring harness. Good body.

The bad: 1928 front and rear end,4-wheel hydraulic brakes, stainless spoke wheels, good tires, headlights 19? has wheel wells in front fenders lot of other parts, have 1924 front end. Would like $8,000 obo for at least top and engine.   OBO!  I know I'll get beat up here, please as if you have any questions. Thank you
