Good to hear. I'm sure many people find these to keep as spares. I wouldn't mind getting more for reatta people but since I don't have one I don't have a way to test. They wouldn't let me take my jump pack in but I'm thinking maybe an 18volt drill battery pack might work just as well.

Well you guys figured it out, however it is not polo green. It is from a red and tan 89 but was cheaply repainted with that chromatic or whatever the color changing is. Looks purple out in the sun. Look at the door and you will see they sprayed the trim, lettering and all. Did not do the door jams and under trunk lid though, that was spray painted with black. Plus it had sticker residue for 22 really big on the side so you can guess what kind of person had it.

I am selling a good grille, front license plate frame with brackets, two fog lights (one is melted slightly), a good drivers door with intact vent glass and mirror (not a good interior panel) and good trunk lid with hinges and shocks. All of this for $50, the only catch is you must pick up all items to get any for $50. I could use the extra room in the garage the door and trunk lid take up so I'm throwing it all into one. Sorry but at this time I will not break up items and ship out. I am located in Rocklin, CA and it is first come first serve. If someone were doing a build and/or going turbo I recently learned that the 3.8 GN heads are a bolt on for the series 1 3800. Verified with knowledgeable Buick mechanic GN top end and a turbo in a reatta I love the idea

I know of one that exists, according to all documents it was crushed at the salvage yard. I personally know him and hope he will take me for a spin in it when I get back to MO. They are not myths or legends, I'm sure they have been to some car shows and people just overlooked them.

I use saddle soap, is loads of work but it will even get some of those wrinkles out. There is a point though it is too far gone.

you could look into it more but having had both gaskets in my hand (I own a supercharged GS) the spacing is considerable difference. I was looking into it to see if I could use parts from it on my Reatta.

ok, I plan on going either Thursday or Friday. I will probably need to know a more precise definition for "good condition" as mine might be diffferent than yours. I will have to clean the buttons on the headlight and wiper switches, looked like thhe wording was worn off but might just be dirty. Armrest pad I don't think I even looked at since it was flipped back and blue since I have tan interior.

I left the keys in the ingition, luckily they were in the floor and I used them to pull the shifter out of park. The glove box and pass through were intact but I did not test with the key. I can do that next time, I'm guessing you are interested in the latches with the key?

The vehicle is at Rancho Cordova, CA yard. It is blue on blue and most everything is fair to good condition. The only real damage was small dent in pass door. All glass intact too. I got the touchscreen and have not tested yet (will sell if works), for myself (so you know it's gone) I took front license holder, grill and both fog lights. I also got the rear tail lights because they had no cracks at all, just missing the U and I. I might sell this, my lower reflector had a small crack someone before me glued. I will polish the haze out and let you know. As for the rest of the car if anyone needs something hit me up. You can preview prices using the pick and pull website and I will be more than fair. I can test some electronics but won't dig into those buried ones on my car for testing. Have a CRT/Touch Screen I picked up today at Pick&Pull. It is out of a Riviera and it is an exact match to my factory 89 Reatta. Check out the pics, I don't know why my camera is making it look multi-colored but it is not. I ran through to test that all the touch screen buttons work and took as many pics as possible. If you need pics without the multi color maybe someone coach me on using this camrea. I took these pics plugged into my Reatta so you could see it function. Gonna be honest I paid $25 for it plus it was a drive to get there which probably costed me around $15. I would like to get $80 plus shipping. I am only selling because mine works and I already have a spare. I will insure (out of my pocket) when shipped to guarantee it works.

I guess Reatta are not really sought after here. I went back to that car a couple of times and it looked like I was the only one pulling parts. Are CRTs something hard to get ahold of cause the first one I pulled worked and now I have a spare. Plus if the Riviera is plug and play I could go grab a couple if someone wants them. Last time they charged me radio price which is like $20

Just to let everyone know this Thursday is half off for toolbox rewards members (free to sign up btw) and then Fri-Mon is half off for general public. They only do this twice a year and last time I happend to grab a load of reatta parts.

Before you go through the effort of pulling the photo sensor try working your headlight switch a few times. I had the issue where those lights would go off and the speedometer and screen would go full bright if I turned my brights on or my fogs off. Headlight switch was hanging up and after a few presses on and off issue cleared up. Probably going to have to get into my spare one and get it ready to go in.

I have a 92 chevy and I have noticed if the steering wheel us turned even slightly it puts enough tension on that you cannot take out of park. Once you turn the key on try moving the steering wheel one way or the other and see if that allows you to shift.

First off welcome to the forum and congrats on your first Buick. That it is a Reatta is nice. To fix your brake problem I would go here Reatta Data Page and run through the test as described. This should give you the answer to what is wrong. I did that when I bought our Reatta and it turned out the 21 year old accumulator just needed replacing. It was expensive, over $100 but if you catch that early you won't wear your pump out trying to make up for that loss. Good luck with your car.

Hello, I've been on the forum since I bought our Reatta back in August and this is my first post. I utilized this website to get all the information Radio Capacitor Replacement Instructions - ReattaOwner.com and replaced all 6 capacitors. Unlike the individual in the write up I have over a decade of soldering experience so I had the solder sucker he spoke of and the job was easy. While I had the radio out I soldered wires from a 3.5mm plug to the secondary Aux inputs so I now have music from my mp3. To sum it all up I'm not bragging but if anyone with a Reatta would like this done to their radio I would be more than happy to help. If interested I would like for the individuals to send the radio, capacitors and the headphone jack (if aux input is desired) along with the check or money to ship it back to you. I would of course test the unit before the replacement and after to insure it works. Yes I would do this at no cost because I believe in helping others out, it comes from the Bible ya know. BTW I have an 89 and from what I can tell this only works on 88-89. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
