This appears to be the most knowledgeable group on White trucks and I am on day number one of trying to figure out what truck I have. I believe it is a 1910s or 1920s model truck. I will gather more info on it next week while I am at work but here is a picture of the number on the engine. If any of you can shed light on what I have I would greatly appreciate it. Also if I need to start another thread I will definitely do so. Thank you.

An independent parts store went out of business a short walk from work. I emptied the dumpster every night after work. Some one took all the brake lining and brought it beck when he found out it was asbestos I took it to that great recycling center at Hershey, still have some.

Here are a few shots of the flea market from 1964, my first time going with my parents. Of course there was only a blue field back then and it ended before the hill in the middle, roughly where the big roller coaster sticks out now. One picture is taken from the side of that hill. The other couple we were with and a single spot. The fellow was my Dad's best friend and spent his Winters restoring brass. He pulled into his spot and put up a sign he would be back at noon. He said we should walk the whole flea market quick and get any bargains or rare things we spotted and then he would open up and later we would walk it slower to find the hidden stuff. He opened by putting up a single card table and displayed in his trunk and the card table. He had a small crowd waiting for him at noon. Some of his brass was pre-sold, he took care of that first. He was pretty much sold out a couple of hours later and he put the card table back in the trunk. We were coming from Ohio and the closest motel we could get a room was at Breezeway just off the PA turnpike.
Looks like my first year, The next year the flea mkt, went around the corner never to go back just bigger.

Know someone in local club used J B Weld to glue on linings used many clamps to clamp shoes to brake drum. Been on for 10 years. Probably any adhesive with a high temp rating will work.

My parade car is my 1913 White 45 hp. Can keep it at a walk in first and slow it up with the hand brake not touching the clutch and does not overheat on a 90 degree day. Then drive home at 50 mph. Can't tell how many parades it's been in. Yes Ed is right about Whites.

Is the development still there? If so cut one of the trees down then cut it up and count the tree rings. The trees look only a few years old. The car on the left Is about 1908 to 1910 so pic is after that, depends on how old the car is. The horse on background could tell you the age if his name is. Mr. Ed.
