If you look at the 2 mounting holes for the coil they are at 45 % angle if it is like you say i would have to get special coil for it.I have never seen a coil that mounted like that. All my other ford Dist. have mounting holes at 90% To the face of the dist.

Brian I think i have the same system in My 38 Buick and was hard and slow starting . that was right after i rebuilt it with new battery . one day i just bought a new battery again. Dont ask me why i just did. Has started every time since like it should. so what i am saying is I think the boys are right. What you have low voltage . I don't know if you can but try and set up another battery and run power off that to coil only and use your regular battery to crank with.

Better check out that 1936 Buick you may have to get them side by side to tell the diffarence .Then they may be the same glass.

Don't get excited yet but i have a fender that when i got some years ago i was told that it was a 22 Buick . don't rember if it left or right I will see if ican get out there tomorrow and get a picture . buy the way it is eather new or vary nice used.. now to find it after 10 years.

I checked out my wheels have a set of # 895 15x 6 2" center hole 3" hub If you are still interested its going to be warm here friday i will pull them out and see how good they are and get a picture or . let me know

I found that 1939 Buick special Hood trim. it is Stright and no dings. will need polishing. if interested i can send pictures.
