[Running lights as blinkers]

I have a 1930 DeSoto Rumble seat coupe that had a single 2 filament tail light for running and brake light. I added a second tail light in order to add signal lights. I installed 6v relays and a signal light flasher to use the single filament front fender lights as signal lights as well. Now when the running lights are on, the signal lights flash OFF, and when the running lights are off, the signal lights flash on. Tail lights work as normal for signaling.

Here are some pictures of my 1930 DeSoto CK6 coupe sidemount hardware. I believe it is the same. The lock was originally rivetted to the fender, but when I found mine, I drilled out the rivets and epoxied studs in the holes. I found one wheel clamp and had a duplicate cast

I have been mixing 20% kerosene to non ethanol premium gas in my 1930 DeSoto. I am not a chemist but understand that the kerosene brings the octane level down to the right level for the compression level these cars had. Mine runs and starts great on it. In Canada I understand the only gas stations that sell non ethanol premium is Chevron. It also comes through a separate hose so to don't get a shot of different fuel first

Here is a 1929 Chrysler 65 that we towed home behind a 1942 Plymouth in 1971. Trip was about 900 miles on the original tires. made a homemade tow bar. Had one flat near the end of the trip and it destroyed the wire wheel as well. Trip was from Fort McLeod Alberta to Surrey, British Columbia. First try was with a U haul trailer, but the Chrysler was too heavy and the tires were rubbing.

Around 1970 I had a 1965 VW. The A&W gave the orange foam antenna balls with every teen burger purchased. My antenna was orange from the base to the tip. Four of us in the car made four trips to purchase one teen burger at a time. The Econo gas stations gave out a greenish glass for every $3.00 of gas purchased. At 37cents per gallon the tank had to be bone dry to get that amount in. Later Esso gas stations gave out playmobile Esso gas station sets with a certain amount of gas purchases. I got several sets over time for my boys. Chevron gave out really nice engraved drinking glasses in the early 80's.

I drilled a hole in the perimeter thermostat disc because the thermostat would not allow any flow till the engine had warmed up. When it did finally open there was a mad rush of hot water that hit the top of the radiator and forced itself out of the over flow tube. I guess the bypass holes would not be needed if you had a sealed pressurize system.

I got your address this time. I have traced the shape of the actual bracket and will enclose with package. Here are two pictures of the original ones. The aluminum ones I traced from an ebay picture from my computer screen. They are close, but not accurate. Now that I finally have the correct ones, these aluminum ones are no good to me. maybe you can make a better pair with the actual traced outlines. Do you need any other side mount hardware? I have a couple of stanchions (R & L)
