  1. I'm getting ready to pull the heads on my Century, as one (or more) valve is bad, the stem is worn down to .080 above the keeper. I've been into other engines over the years, but not a nailhead. Anything specific to this engine I should do or not do prior to pulling the heads, other than the obvious? Also, once the heads are off, is there any Nailhead-specific work that should be done to improve power & efficiency? Thanks!

  2. My '41 Super Series 50 needs rear axle work, gears & bearings are worn & noisy, as is one of the axle bearings. I have a line on a low mileage '49 Series 50 w/ dynaflow, complete rear axle assembly, with torque tube. Will this '49 assembly interchange w/ the '41? Would the gear ratio in the '49 with dynaflow improve engine rpm @ hi way speeds? The '41 ratio is 4:1 +- and I've heard the '49 with Dynaflow is Approx. 3:5 +- . Thx for any advice.
