  2. Just retired and moved to Maryland. I have a lot more time to work on the car. Just pulled the motor. Have both doors installed. Been stripping parts, bead blasting and getting things painted and detailed. Finished painting the engine compartment. Painted the floors on the inside and seam sealed them. Now to the underside. A few photos below. More to follow. Engine compartment painted Floors seam sealed and painted.

  8. Forget the one piece drive shaft. Will not fit down the tunnel. Here is the info on the center bearing. It could be the cv joint or the u joints.   12. Thanks for your reply! When my dad and started on the project the first thing we looked and purchased a 4speed parts car. The other odd thing about this Car is I purchased the motor complete from a tractor pull tractor. He claimed he out pulled all the others except one with a big buck Chevy motor. At the oldjetfire.com site they only have about 110 cars registered and maybe 40 running. The rest are parts cars.
  13. A quick update. Just got the doors and trunk back from the body shop. Took a lot longer than expected. Had to scrap the doors on the car. They are primed and the jams painted the color of the car. Replaced the lower glass channel and the vent window rubber. Everything is installed and ready for the car. Will try and get the other door assembled and ready for the car. By then it should be done snowing!! See the photo below. Ken
