  1. ah twins!!! i like yours too! I must say, that signature quote is priceless!!! Thanks for pix, Rich.
  2. That motor is just great 301 hp! you are passing v8 numbers. If you are ever bored, I would love to know all the induction parts you used ( heads, blower and so on). I would like to do a similar mod. The torque steer is inherent, but aluminum block would eliminate a lot ( machined and inserted in place of motor and trans mount rubber, but of course vibration becomes an issue. The boy racers use this on japanese cars but like I said it does vibrate. Bad. Maybe there is a neoprene mount available which would be a good compromise. thanks again, Rich
  3. Thanks for the address and pix Jon. I appreciate it. Your car is beautiful. Under the hood is just great! Did you rebuild the original motor and add the mods? Or did you start with a later model that had a factory blower and go from there? Beautiful job. Thanks, Rich.
  4. Hi all, I wanted to share a few pix of my 90. It has 68k miles and is in nice condition overall. It has a sunroof and a cd player ( that does not work). I will give it a full once over this weekend. I did however change the oil and top off the trans as it has been parked since 03 with an occasinal start up and move a little. Oddly enough the tires seem ok. Usually they develop flat spots when they sit. I am going to change them soon anyway as the age of them concerns me. It has all original paint and just a minor chip on the trunk. I found it in Yonkers NY. Most people who see it think its a neat, unusual car.I will post some interior pix soon. Hope you all like it!! Enjoy. Rich.
  5. Hi Al, I too am new here and have not seen a "sheet" but In my research, I have seen prices from 3k to 12K. The 12k was a low miles convertible. Someone here just paid almost 10k for a coupe, but it was like new with less than 7k miles. In my opinion it was well worth it. low miles add value. If it was never hit, or never had paint work it adds value. I know I did not answer your question, but I hope I helped a little. Rich.
  6. thank you, I appreciate it. By the way did you supercharge your car? I am new here so if I missed a write up I apologize. Thanks again, Rich.
  7. beautiful car!!! I too just bought a maui blue. Your car is very nice, I like the blue interior. Mine has grey, but I, was hoping for blue, but like you said rarity is an issue so I took grey. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck!! Enjoy it forever. Rich.
  8. wow! that is really a beautiful car!! Less than 7k miles is like new!! Was it original owner? can you post interior pix? Good luck, Rich.
  9. thanks so much for all the replies. 63 viking, may I get the info for the company you mentioned. I am willing to put money into repair to keep it working.Thank you, Rich.
  10. Hi all, it is newbee Rich here. I just purchased a 1990 maui blue, and while I am going over it noticed the cd player is not working. I put in a disc, the radio mutes for about 45 seconds and then it ejects the disc. It never plays. I tried several discs. I tried factory made cds, and home burnt cds and I get the same result. Sometimes the cd player says err and sometimes it doesn't, but it wont play. The cd unit has power as some of the lights work and it loads and ejects properly. The car has 65k miles, although, I am sure it has not had a cd played in it for quite a while if ever. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Rich.
  11. the bull horns were my next question actually there is a blue ragtop on ebay now with a rear spoiler. It really looks like it belongs. No matter, I am not going to put one on if it was not an original option. I got my car today though. It is really a great looking car especially in profile. I will register it tomorrow and drive and drive. It seems like a unique, comfortable, beautiful car for a reasonable amount of money. Love the blue. I had an 89 firebird that looked almost the same color. I bet it was.
  12. Hi all, my name is Rich, I am new to this board, and to Reatta's in general. I am picking up a 90 maui blue tomorrow. I am sure I will spend lots of time here. I was wondering if a rear spoiler was ever a factory option. I have seen a few cars with them on the decklid, but I was not sure if they were factory, or an add on accessory. They sure looked like a factory fit though. Ok talk soon, Thanks, Rich.
