Duesenberg Murphy Roadster.

"Pacific Auto Rental" Duesenberg. These photos are of the car being restored in the mid 1980's at Mike Fennel Enterprises. I worked for Mike, and the car was my project. One of the cars many movie credits is "What ever happened to Baby Jane"

Is that car #2414 J-395? When was exactly the car at Pebble Beach Concours?

The top row of pictures of the beige Murphy disappearing top is J395,  not the lower pictures.

 

J395 was bought at the Hershey auction in 2003/2004 time frame, restored,  showed at Pebble around 2010 and the sold to the Andrews collection, where it was auctioned off a few years ago.

 

It is now Black and Red.
