as some of you may know..the 65 rivi has a variable pitch convertor.

i would love to have one in the 67 wildcat to help that 430 in the lower end of performance.

was it offered as an option? it has the th400...can i convert? does anyone have leads to a rebuilt conversion kit? thx again vito

wow i may have to stand corrected.....i did not realize it was an st400 stock. now im really not sure what is in there. all i can really be sure of is that the kick down switch is not like the 65 rivi with the extra terminal

thx vito

hi ted

thx for your input, here is where i am right now. you are correct i should have a variable pitch convertor. if i do, it does not work. so either it was removed sometime in the past or my kickdown switch is bad. so im in search of a switch now. i do have the extra wire from the switch to the two post terminal on the tranny and the pan is shaped as it should be for that system. thx vito
