GaryBudd
While running is it normal for it to smoke out exhaust? If not what should I be looking at.Also for some reason I have to keep pulling needle valve to clean, gets stuck. As always thank you Gary
Guest
Your entire problem might be your needle and seat. If it sticks and you are driving the mixture is too rich and will smoke. Easy fix.

Guest
Replace the needle and seat either with a NOS or modify a later one to fit. I fooled around with mine for a couple of years and then my tune up guy modified an early 60's one to fit my Marvel carb and it has been trouble free for 50 years and 400,000 miles.
