Mars
I'm looking for a source for the door bumper that is on the jamb side and is held in place by a screw. Didn't find it at Steele. Two per door. I'll take a pic

Spinneyhill
It looks like this one: https://www.steelerubber.com/door-bumper-40-0037-70 You need to supply the metal to fit in the back. Be very careful when you remove and fit that you don't drop anything down inside the door pillar! There is another there the same but different size. Go by the measurements. Mine (DC-8) came from there. Edited June 19, 2018 by Spinneyhill (see edit history)
Mars
So the metal piece goes in the slotted space, screw goes into that? Could make a new piece if lost. Thanks
Spinneyhill
Yes. But it will probably be rusted into the rubber and you will need a screwdriver that fits the screw very well (e.g. a new one) to get it out without destroying the screw.

Spinneyhill
If you have a magnet rod, you may be able to retrieve it. Enter the sill at the front beside and below the door pillar, or through the hole you dropped it through! I taped a piece of garden hose to a vacuum cleaner and sucked the rubbish out of the sill through that front opening.
