Guest
I just bought a 26 Chrysler coupe and I would like to restore it to original condition. The car is in rough shape but it is complete except for a door handle and window crank. Where can I find information on wood kits and general info on this car? I am new at this but it was my Grandfathers car so I waant to do it right. Thanks for any help. TSA
Guest Hal Davis (MODEL A HAL)
A lot of the regulars on here are at Hershey. I'm not familiar with Chryslers, but I suggest you get a copy of Hemmings Motor News from your local bookstore, magazine stand, etc. There will be an abundance of ads in there for companies that sell parts for antique vehicles. Hopefully someone else on here will have some better leads for you.
ply33
I guess I am not a regular, because I'm not off to Hershey
I am not aware of a single marque Chrysler club, but there are a couple that cover all Chryler built cars. For a national organization, I'd start with the WPC Club. There are local clubs here and there that might help. For example, the California Chrysler Products Club
You can also get information about the car itself from:
Daimler Chrysler
c/o Historical Foundation
CIMS 410-11-21
12501 Chrysler Freeway
Detroit, MI 48288-0001
Telephone: (313) 956-1109
And, as always the AACA Library and Research Center can probably help. The catch there is that you should be a AACA member
[This message has been edited by TodFitch (edited 10-03-2000).]
John N. Packard
Tod,
The AACA Library and Research Center will process requests from non-members. TSA should contact our librarian Kim Miller.
jnp
