Guest Captrick
Greetings All: I'm very much in need of the two bumperettes that flank the license plate opening on a 1958 Buick Super. They are about 18' long and 3" wide and are on the lower edge of the bumper. They accept through bolts from the mounts and help hold the rear bumper to the car. I don't need anything like show quality (although that would work), but just a pair that are rust free. Thanks!
dei
Sorry I can't help you out but want to wish you luck with the hunt. They are out there but be prepared, they are somewhat like gold even if in just decent shape. When doing a Google search type in '1958 Buick lower bumper rails' as they are generally known as. Last one I bought for my Special which was re-chromed (9 years ago) cost $320.00 for one side only but was in bolt on condition. From what I can see from your picture your car looks very nice. You should start a thread in the Me and My Buick section. We all love the story and pictures.
