Not familiar with the brand, but it was a good article. In my opinion the best spar varnish is a product called "Vitralite UVA Spar Varnish" made by Pratt and Lambert. It is pretty expensive. I have a can of "Flecto Spar Varnish" which I applied 3 years ago [at least] and I still like the sheen. Wasn't hard to do either.

The headlight finishes are clear to deliver ultimate transparency, while the Spar varnish is amber. You will not believe how the taillights will "pop" when you start putting on the varnish.
