jsgun Posted February 21, 2017 Share Posted February 21, 2017 I'd like to install a remote hood release cable on my 64 Riv. Basically, the under dash pull cable that later cars have. Has anyone done this? If so, what parts were used? I'm hoping the hood latch is interchangeable with a later model, but I don't have my hopes up. Has anyone installed any type of hood lock? I found this: http://www.zlokhoodlock.com/index.html It looks promising, but I'm not sure the cable is long enough, and installation might be difficult on the Riv's latch from what I've seen so far.
