Rear Motor mount 38

How tight. I allpied about 30 Lbs. w/torque wrench,  turning gears by hand are getting harder to turn. 

 

Any ideas guys?

Need a little more information. Did you rebuild or replace any bearings or remove the front bearing retainer or is it just the rear mount that was removed?

Transmission was completely taken apart cleaned, new rear mount, No new part installed in the transmission. Yes had the front bearing retainer off.

Ok , try loosening the four bolts that hold the front bearing retainer on. Then see if the transmission frees up any. Mine did the same thing after I rebuilt it. If it frees up try a thicker gasket under the retainer. Sometimes you can swap retainers and correct it but on mine I put in a thicker gasket .

Played with most of today with no luck. will try gasket next time in shop. Thanks
