Phil Knapp
Having lived in the heated environment of Southern California and Texas for the past 40+ years, I have been using Sta-Lube 140w gear oil which is not commonly available in our local auto parts stores.(They all carry only "multi-viscosity" gear oil. To get 140w gear oil, you need to buy a 5 gallon barrel!)I was able to get one gallon of "Sta-Lube 140w gear oil" from AMAZON for the Columbia installation in my '41 Continental! (and the price was right). Edited May 30, 2015 by Phil Knapp (see edit history)
