MochetVelo
I got 4 new intake manifolds from the foundry this week, and they look good. These are rough castings, so they will need some machining to fit your car. This involves the countersinks for the connection to the block, plus tapping for the 1-inch pipe plug on the base. Also, a little touch-up may be required to fill in the odd air bubble. They were fairly complex patterns to cast. As I stated before, these were cast from patterns made some years ago, and a number of the castings have been used successfully. I hired a pattern maker to make a lost core mold. They are a but "meatier" than the original manifolds, so some grinding will be needed to fit with the exhaust manifold. Cost is $250, plus shipping. Give me you address for shipping cost.Phil JamisonPA
trimacar
Very nice! As the early Hupp guys know, there were a lot of these with the bottom of the J cut off to fit a Model T carb, so bet you sell these quickly and are asked for more....good project!!
