Guest BobFitz
Great day for a topless drive here in Texas in my DOHC but I have a miss up to 2500 rpm. After that it pulls hard up to 6000 rpm.Any idea ?
89TC-16V
could be dirty injector, if it goes away its nothing serious. i had a similar condition with mine after sitting a long time and very old gas but like you said it goes away.
Roger Frazee
Does the tach drop toward zero when the engine misses, or does it stay steady. If it drops, the problem is in the ignition primary circuit. If it holds steady, it could be fuel or something in the secondary circuit.I recently had an intermittent miss. Everytime the engine would misfire, the tach would drop and the lights would flicker. Turned out to be a short in the alternator.
