Hats off to Hornets Reigon

The Auto Fair Sat. was great,even though the speedway decided not to let them park cars on the infield grass (which did not seem wet at all). They had to find a way to park all those cars on the pavement. All the folks with the Hornets were very nice and patient(not so with some of the people with the speedway staff).

I know it would be impossible to find another location that could handle a show that size,but I think it would be nice to tell Bruton what he could do with his speedway.

Thanks, right back at you and to all who came.

HNR always works with the Speedway staff to protect the grass and track. Actually, the grass area was a lot wetter than it looked, and there was another unexpected problem that the grounds crew was dealing with.

It was great to see several new faces and some that have been missing the last few years.

I assisted Chief Judge Bill Garrett in judging for some custom awards. I'll have to admit that turned out to be great fun.
