Topper1961
It all started with an add in want to buy; "Trailmaster Spotlight mirrors". A couple of weeks later, g-g-g0`s (Gary) PM me and asked for some parts, at the same time he made me aware of a 1957 Buick Special Estate Wagon Model 49D on Craigslist Janesville WI, that looked like it had a Trailmaster Spotlight mounted on the left door. Now, I thought I would give it a shot an ask the seller if the Trailmaster were for sale. To make a long story short, in a couple of days sharing pictures an information, the 1957 Buick disease hit me again like a damn flu. I was caught in dreams of Buick`s, were 1957 Buick`s passed my eyes like sheep's, counting 322,364,401,425.................Ended up with a one owner car, which has been parked in a barn on the countryside since 1969. Plates still has stickers. Data on this car as follows: Body #4203Trim #415 Paint UU Green stripe in Sweepspear as wellPcc BFJK The car arrived to my friend Art`s shop in Tempe AZ on Monday, and is going through an first inspection. This is a rubber mat car, no carpets. Engine is all together, never been messed around with, tailgate is amazingly rust free, but there is some unexpected rust behind the rear doors and a little above the left headlight. Headliner panels are all there, extremely rare for those as they were fiberboard. But, there is always a but. The Trailmaster was not a Trailmaster, but some aftermarket, so still in market for one........ at the moment I don't know if I should keep the car, or sell it. It is a money issue as well, like new kitchen for the wife, or a restored Estate wagon for bringing home the goods from the grocery. Art going to try to turn the engine and see if can get it back to life again. So Jim! should we join in on your adventure the coming years or not.. the car needs to be saved, so I am in a kind of state Go - NO Go as we say in the Army! Here's some pictures, enjoy the fine Buick automobiles of 1957 Buicks Thanks to g-g-g0`s for tipping me of! Lets hope we have saved another 57 for the future! Edited August 27, 2014 by Topper1961 adding pictures (see edit history)

Topper1961
Thanks guys!I have after two weeks of thinking and discussion with my wife, decided to let it go. I will post it here first for 5900.00. Or highest bid over. If nobody takes it, it will go on EBay with no reserve. This is not my first choice, but it takes two to tango. Thanks for looking, and spread the word.
