1931 Roadster Top

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I recently bought a 1931 deluxe roadster and what is the proper way to put the top down. I see there are a number of snaps and I wasn't sure what should be un-snapped and what can be left in place?

There should be a row of snaps along the front top of the windshield frame. Undo those and loosen the locking thumbscrews that lock the top assy. to the stanchions then just lift the frnot of the top up and fold down. There are also two round knobbed lock screws where the top pivots at the body just behind the doors that may need loosened also.
