Guest Firstcityfireman
Hey gang, wanted to ask a general question about the overall ease or difficulty of finding parts for these cars. I am looking to purchase an all original and running 49 and was just curious about the options I may have running down parts if needed. Appreciate any input, thanks!Jim
Jon37
In general, you'll have much more success in finding new and rebuilt parts necessary to keep the car running, than you will have in finding new body parts. Your best bet will be to join the Hudson-Essex-Terraplane Club which is a clearinghouse of technical and parts information and an "in" to the large network of Hudson owners. Here's the club's homepage: Hudson Essex Terraplane Club Inc. . There is a good forum for Hudson enthusiasts at the Classiccar website, Hudson - Classic Car - ClassicCar.com . You might want to post specific questions about Hudsons, there.
