Guest tempest68
A penny might not be worth much these days, but it sure looks like it can cost you <img src="http://www.aaca.org/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Guest Mark Wishneusky
I had that happen to me once. I forget if it was a penny or a dime, but for some reason my CD player and RF sender (both plugged into the lighter) weren't working. I checked the fuse and it was blown. Replaced it, and it blew again in a few seconds. At that point I ran out of fuses so I got a nice package with a ton of 'em. Replaced it again. So I took a peek inside the ligher and sure enough there was a coin. Marvelous. It took a while to get it out with tweezers because it was wedged in there pretty well. But, got it out and the fuse hasn't blown since. Now I'm ready to arm a whole army of cars with fuses AND I get to hear music again!
Guest
A penny in the cigarette lighter?...no, not unless there was also aluminum foil in the fusebox!
