oldsfan78
does anyone know what the a4 4barrel aluminum intake was used on stock or what years they were used and if they have any performace gain over the cast iron stock 350 4barrel intake? joe_padavano
The A4 flows about as well as a stock cast iron intake, but weighs only 1/3 as much. The A5 has tiny ports and should be avoided at all costs. A4s came on 81-85 307 motors, the A5s came on 86-up 307s. I've seen A4s selling for as little as $15.

joe_padavano
The A4 fits on any small block Olds. It has 350-sized ports, so use the 350 gaskets.
Guest Dave Wyatt
If you don't need the EGR, you can remove the two pipes inside the intake and screw in pipe plugs. A turkey tray is not recommended on aluminum intakes. NAPA and others have other gaskets available.
