hddennis
Thanks to several generous people on here and the H.C.C.A. site I now have a lot clearer idea of what I own. Apparently Maxwell made an early 1917 model with an ammeter and a late model with a "Charge Indicator" and they are wired differently. One person sent me a copy of a diagram with a lot of helpfull specifications and part numbers but it shows an ammeter in the diagram so it must be an early 1917. I'm hoping someone has the book it came from and can give me the "Late 1917" diagram and any other Maxwell info from that book. What I have is a 30 year old mimeograph of page 307 of the "Standard Auto-Electrican's Manual" . Thanks, Howard Dennis
