Help- 1934 Buick Model 50

I am contemplating purchasing a 1934 Buick Model 50 4 door sedan, needing full restoration.

I know enough to check the body, body framing, mounts & chassis.

What else should I look for?

What is a reasonable value for this vehicle?

Thanks

Bob

"What else should I look for?" Another car if it's the car for sale on Long Island.

I saw this car and it needs everything. It has a lot of rot that was covered up in

an earlier attempt at restoration. It has bad wood in the framing of the doors. I

didn't even bother to open up the hood. If you can do all the metal and wood body work

yourself I wouldn't pay more than a quarter of the asking price. If you have to pay for

someone to do it you'll be in over your head in no time. The interior was done over

incorrectly. I didn't make an offer as I wouldn't take it for free.
