Lawteachr
I am contemplating purchasing a 1934 Buick Model 50 4 door sedan, needing full restoration.I know enough to check the body, body framing, mounts & chassis. What else should I look for? What is a reasonable value for this vehicle? Thanks Bob
bubba
"What else should I look for?" Another car if it's the car for sale on Long Island. I saw this car and it needs everything. It has a lot of rot that was covered up in an earlier attempt at restoration. It has bad wood in the framing of the doors. Ididn't even bother to open up the hood. If you can do all the metal and wood body work yourself I wouldn't pay more than a quarter of the asking price. If you have to pay for someone to do it you'll be in over your head in no time. The interior was done over incorrectly. I didn't make an offer as I wouldn't take it for free.
