1935 Dictator Grille Emblem

Does anyone have pictures or can tell me what colors the Studebaker wheel emblem in the front grille should be painted? Also, is the background in the "shield" that the emblem is mounted in supposed to be painted? I have had the grille and emblem both rechromed already but have found a sign painter that says he can paint the emblem.

I'm sure if you contact someone in the Studebaker Driver's Club someone would be willing to send you a picture of the emblem. I believe it's the same colors as the older enamel emblems, a blue background with the banner behind Studebaker a dark red. I could be wrong though. Hope this helps.

I have a 35 Dic in my garage and can take a close up if ya want ? also lookin for oil pickup screen and tube for a 3A motor 36-37 six...s.

Here is a pic of a '35 NOS Emblem. The outside of the tire is a light blue gray. The Studebaker script is cream. Spokes are red with black between them.This pic is a pretty accurate reproduction of the colors.Hope this helps.
