calwood1kid
I have a 37 Buick Roadmaster with a 320 CI engine. The rocker assembly was not oiling when I purchased the car because the oil supply line was clogged. My assembly is not in the best of shape. AS I am rebuilding the head I would like to replace some of the rockers or possibly the whole assembly. Would like to know through what years and what engines the rocker assembly and push rods will interchange. Engine has solid lifters. THANKS, Redbug. Guest DaveCorbin
Dear Redbug: Be sure when you reassemble to get the right stand and bolt in the front position, as that's how the oil gets up to the rocker shaft. Also, double check the shaft orientation so that all the holes are in line. It's easy to do it right IF you're careful.
